Kerala High Court Case Search covers
the entire case database with full text of judgements from
1956 till date of The Kerala High Court Reported in KLT, KLJ,
ILR (Ker.), AIR etc.
Let any judgement of the Kerala High Court
be reported in any journal, the same is covered in this
CD ROM in similar manner. A single journal may not report
all the cases. There may be hundreds of cases that are left
out by that journal and that are reported in the other journal/journals.
We can say authoritatively that our CD ROM covers all cases
reported by all the journals such as KLT, KLJ, ILR (Ker.)
etc. It is equivalent to having all the libraries at one
place. This single CD ROM covers around 33,500 full text
judgements. Not just that, any bit of information with respect
of the case law of Kerala High Court from 1956 to till date

Full Text Version
Economy Version
These versions differ in the set of features
they support. Full Text version provides the entire
set. That is, it contains the entire reported Kerala High
Court Judgments and the cases of the Supreme Court (From
year 2000 onwards) and Bare Acts (Central and State). The
Economy version contains only the reported decisions
of the Kerala High Court.
So simple and easy to use.
No formal computer knowledge necessary. Software has been
developed by a team of skilled software professionals under
the guidance of experienced legal professionals.
Authentic and Reliable. Prepared
by the same panel of editors who edited KLT digest series.
Citations in the database are crosschecked with that of the
book many times to ensure accuracy. Parallel citations are
given wherever possible. CD ROM contains more and complete
database.
Intelligent search facility.
Search can be done just by typing any word. If that particular
word is figured in any of the case law from 1949-2002, all
the cases which contain that particular word will be listed.
The said list can be sorted subject-wise, parties wise, date
wise etc. If there are more number of desired results, the
search can be refined, thus saving a lot of time.
Multiple
search option. Search can be also be done by Act
name or subject wise. Search can also be done by parties'
names, judgement date, Judges name, desired citation name
and even by the name of the Advocate who appeared in the case.
Overruled
status. If a particular case is overruled in a
later decision, then the citation of the later decision is
also given with the case at hand. Also, in the result window
the overruled case will be listed in red colour so as to easily
identify it from the other cases.
Case
Details. Complete details about the case such
as case number, judgement date, parties name,name of the judges,
name of the Act, relevant section applicable, referred cases,
name of the Advocate who appeared in the case etc. are given
with the case.
Print
option. Printout of the desired headnote as well
as full text of judgement can be taken as per the need of
the client. Even printout of the desired paragraphs from the
fulltext of judgments can be taken
Help
Menu. Detailed help menu is given along with the
software. So any clarification or doubts about the programme
can be cleared by the click of the button.
Search Example:-
To search for a particular citation, select the 'Citation'
option from the search options and enter the citation (say
2002 (3) KLT SN 10) (citation format is as in the books).
You can enable/disable the dictionary support.
This searching will result in two windows: one displays the
list of cases that match with the search and the main window
displays the first case in the said list.
You can make use of different search types like Full Case-note,
Coram, Advocate, Party etc. with a verity of search options
like Exact, All Words and Phrase. You can use the Date option
(From and To) to filter the search results.
